Exploring the work of Leeds charity

Young explorers from Leeds are helping to support an epilepsy charity as part of a national appeal.

Little scouts from the 10th Airedale Scouts group took part in fundraising activities and learned about epilepsy and the work of Yeadon-based charity Epilepsy Action. The activities, organised as part of the A Million Hands national scouting campaign, included visits from members of the charity and games to help the children understand the condition. The scout group is now organising a sponsored silence in a bid to raise £600 for the charity. They will also wearing purple clothes to a group meeting on Saturday, which is national Purple Day, to help fundraise.
