The FAS roadshow is being held in tandem with a wider flood fair organised by the Garforth Flood Support Group.

Also running on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, it will feature a number of marquees in Victoria Gardens as well as a programme of talks and presentations in Leeds Town Hall.

Officers from Leeds City Council will also be on hand giving advice on the financial support on offer for those affected by the floods.

FAS managing director Sarah Marriott said: “It was clear as the flooding situation in Leeds unfolded, [we were] perfectly placed to provide the information, advice and support the community was looking for. It only took a phone call to Leeds City Council and they, along with Garforth Flood Support Group, wasted no time in making arrangements. This is a great example of how when we all work together we can achieve a common goal.”
