Taking place for the seventh time, Glug Leeds gives people an opportunity to network in an informal setting with the added attraction of a free glass of beer.

Today’s event will see a careers clinic running from 3pm to 6pm while a series of talks are scheduled for 6pm to 9pm.

Speakers include Alec Dudson, of Intern Magazine, Matt Essam, of Creative Life, and brothers-turned-business partners Matthew and Daniel Tweddle, from Only.

Glug Leeds co-host Hannah O’Sullivan told Digital City: “The main driver is to create cohesion between advertising, digital media, graphic design and the visual arts through to fashion, architecture and the crafts.”

The event is being staged at ODI Leeds, on the third floor of Munro House, Duke Street, in the city centre.

Sponsorship and support is coming from the University of Leeds and Beer Hawk.
