An eighth man has been charged over the fatal shooting of a man in a Leeds street – nine months after he died.
Rahim Gatewood, of Spencer Place, Chapeltown, is due to appear before Leeds magistrates on Thursday accused of murdering Shuel Ali Hussain.
Mr Hussain, aged 33, from Harehills, died from a single wound to the abdomen after being shot while sat in his car in Pasture Road, Harehills, on the evening of Monday, March 9.
Gatewood, aged 20, is also charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Seven other males, aged 16 to 42, are awaiting trial having been charged as part of the investigation.
Three men and two youths are facing charges of conspiracy to murder.
Two other men have been charged with assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
