A crafty mum-of-two has been recognised for her entrepreneurial skills and been shortlisted for an award for the second year running.

Hayley Sugden, 38, of Rawdon, owner of The Creation Station Leeds, has been shortlisted for the Franchisee of the Year – an accolade which she also won last year.

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in Warickshire on Saturday March 1.

The Creation Station is a children’s art and craft provider, with franchisees running workshops, events, and parties across the country. It runs educationally-based arts and crafts sessions.

Hayley said: “What we do at the Creation Station is incredibly rewarding and we work very hard to ensure that every child that comes to our sessions is able to express their creativity in their own individual way.”

Jill Hassall, 32, of Rawdon, who works at the Creation Station in Leeds has been nominated for the Employee of the Year category.
