Gymophobics has around 40 centres nationwide but the Garforth facility will be its first franchise in Leeds.

The gym is being set up by Adele Ewen, who has previously worked as a fitness instructor for Gymophobics.

Looking ahead to next week’s opening, Adele told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “It’s an exciting time and we’re hoping to get a lot of support from the local community.”
