Duran Duran to play at Leeds arena

BRITISH rockers Duran Duran have announced they will be coming to Leeds this year.

The band will step on stage at the First Direct Arena on November 28.

The ‘Rio’ hitmakers first formed in Birmingham in 1978 and went on to become one of the most successful bands of all time, topping the charts around the world and selling 100million records in 30 years.

Duran Duran will perform at various festivals and shows in America before embarking on the UK arena tour.

The band will release its 14th studio album, Paper Gods, on September 11, with guest appearances from Janelle Monáe, former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, singer Kiesza, British singer-songwriter Mr Hudson and Lindsay Lohan.
