Driver flips car in field leaving girl trapped
A girl had to be rescued by firefighters after the car she was travelling in flipped over onto its side in a field.
Fire crews from Bedale went to the scene and found the male driver already of the car but a female passenger trapped.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said they used cutting gear to remove the back seats of the car before removing the girl, who was suffering from back pain.
He added the Peugeot 206 had left the road - the A684 - and ended up on its side in a field.
