Dracula drink at Leeds bar to celebrate ballet’s return

Have your say

Bloodthirsty ballet-goers will be able to whet their appetite for the macabre with a limited-edition cocktail being served in honour of Northern Ballet’s Dracula.

The Transylvanian Broker cocktail will be available at The Alchemist in Trinity between September 1 and 14 September to coincide with the ballet’s return to the West Yorkshire Playhouse from September 5 to 13.

Created by head bartender, Elliot Oxley, the gory gobstopper includes gin, elderflower, a squeeze of fresh grapefruit and three dashes of The Alchemist’s secret red powder. Dry ice is finally added to create a bubbling beverage. For a chance to win tickets to Dracula plus dinner and a round of Transylvanian Brokers for two people, visit northernballet.com/alchemist
