PET pooches were put through their paces at a fundraising fun day at the Leeds Donkey Sanctuary yesterday.
Events staged during the day at the Fun Dog Show event at the sanctuary at Eccup included a ‘doggy dash’ to find the fastest hound.
There was also a dog agility display at the event, which was staged to raise funds for the centre.
Centre manager Cathryn Dixon, said: “It was great to meet all the different breeds of dogs and see them show off their talent in the competitions.”
The Donkey Sanctuary Leeds provides 6,000 free riding therapy sessions to children with additional needs from across the city each year.
