Delays on M62 near Rothwell, Leeds, after three white vans crash

At one point, three lanes on the westbound carriageway between junction 30 at Rothwell and junction 29 at Lofthouse were closed.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said they were called to assist the ambulance service at 7.54am.

Three white vans were involved in the collision; a Fiat Ducato, a Mercedes Curtain and a Vauxhall Movano.

None of the drivers are believed to have been seriously hurt.

Highways England said the accident was cleared by around 9.15am and delays were easing.
