Delays in Leeds city centre as anti-Trump march gets underway

Hundreds of marchers have descended on Leeds city centre to protest against Donald Trump.

Tonight's gathering is the latest in a series of actions across UK cities which oppose the US president's upcoming state visit.

Around 150 placard-waving demonstrators marched down the Headrow towards Leeds Art Gallery chanting slogans including 'Trump out, refugees in'.

Traffic and bus services were disrupted but the main roads are now thought to have cleared.
