Persimmon Homes has re-submitted plans to 46 houses on land off New Village Way, Churwell, near the M62.

The latest plans come after initial proposals for 54 homes on the site were rejected by Leeds City Council’s south and west plans panel earlier this year.

The revised proposals feature 46 houses, including seven affordable homes, as well as associated access, car parking, landscaping and public space at the site.

They will be considered by the council’s planning committee on Thursday.

A report prepared by council officers ahead of the meeting recommends the plans for approval, subject to conditions.
