Offering an enchanting experience for all, Grimm & Co is one of Yorkshire’s leading small attractions and recently took home a prize at the White Rose Awards 2018.

The museum of magical artefacts includes an amazing collection of objects and there are a variety of weird and wonderful items for sale at the unique apothecary, including ready-blended potions (aka bath salts) - making it the ideal place to get some Christmas shopping done whilst enjoying a fun day out.

There’s much more than just unique products to discover - the apothecary also houses Yorkshire’s own School of Wizardry and Wonder, with workshops for the apprentice sorcerer, from wand crafting to potion creations.

Head through the secret door to Writers’ Pad, a Yorkshire charity which champions the writer in every young person through creative writing workshops.

A dedicated team work with children and young people from aged seven-18 to unlock hidden talent, build confidence in writing, raise self-esteem and unleash imaginations and creativity.

Visitors can take away a free book from the ‘Library of Forgotten Books’ or purchase a ready-made potion of ‘Extract of Genius’, ‘Eternal Ugliness’ or ‘Happily Ever After’.

Also on offer is the Fairytale Mail Service, which gives youngsters an opportunity to write a letter to their favourite character and receive a handwritten reply within seven-10 days.
