Main story. Tony Blair is to be quizzed over why the ringleader of the July 7 Leeds suicide bombers was not investigated though he was known to police. A report by the all-party Commons intelligence and security committee cleared security chiefs of blame over the bombings. But counter terrorism officials were said to be aware of Mohammad Sidique Khan, a teaching assistant from Dewsbury, and father of a young child, but he was not suspected of being a key player in a radical organisation.
