Cyclist hurt in west Leeds car collision

A female cyclist was rushed to hospital by ambulance today after a collision with a car on a busy road in west Leeds.

The incident was at 7.30am near the Texaco petrol station on Richardshaw Lane, Pudsey.

The cyclist suffered what appeared to be minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary.

West Yorkshire Police said this morning that no arrests had been made.

Emergency crews have now left the scene.
