Charity-minded medical workers have cycled 107km through Yorkshire in a bid to raise £1,000 for a good cause.
Staff at Spire Leeds Hospital, in Roundhay, rode from the facility to Pateley Bridge and back in aid of Harrison’s Fund for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Sunday’s ride was the second in the Spire Leeds Hospital cycle ride series 2015 that will cover more than 720km – the distance between the nine Spire Hospitals.
Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a genetic condition that causes muscle weakness and Harrison’s Fund is backing research into a cure.
