A cryptic poster for legendary band The Stone Roses has caused a storm online today - with many fans predicting it means new music or a tour coming to the city.

The poster has been spotted on the side of Roxy Lanes, a bowling complex in Bond Street.

The post which captured speculation said: "Stone Roses to play Leeds fest maybe? Or in Leeds? Or a tour? Brightened up my Monday afternoon!"

The band, behind hits including Fool's Gold and I Wanna Be Adored, released new music last year before appearing at Wembley Stadium.
