Woman seriously hurt after being hit by a car on Middleton Road in Leeds
Middleton Road in Belle Isle has been closed after a woman was hit by a car.
The pedestrian, aged in her 80s, was struck near the junction with Orion Drive at 12.30pm
She was hit by a white Renault Kangoo driven by a 29-year-old man who stopped at the scene.
West Yorkshire Police said:
"The woman has been taken to hospital by ambulance for emergency treatment.
"A road closure in currently in place pending an examination of the scene and updates on the woman’s condition."
