Woman ‘assaulted’ after drinkers evicted from Leeds city centre pub

A woman was taken to hospital with a serious head injury after a scuffle broke out when drinkers were kicked out of a Leeds pub.

The 51-year-old allegedly hit her head on the pavement after being pushed over outside the Three Legs of Man on The Headrow on Tuesday night.

Police were called to reports of an assault at 8.20pm.

A 48-year-old woman was arrested. She remained in custody today.
