West Yorkshire Police break down doors in raids on Leeds houses to recover drugs, cash and stolen items

Police have broken down doors in a series of raids on homes in Leeds.

Officers executed search warrants at the houses and seized cash, drugs and suspected stolen property this morning (Tuesday).

The operation was coordinated by Leeds West Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Operational Support Unit.

Addresses that police raided included the Woodbridges in Kirkstall.

The officers broke down the doors of some homes near Queenswood Drive and recover drugs, cash and suspected stolen items.

All suspects are under arrest and enquiries are ongoing, police said.

A post on the West Yorkshire Police Leeds West Facebook page said: "Leeds West NPT working with the Operational Support Unit were out early this morning executing Magistrates Search warrants.

"Addresses on the Woodbridge’s off Queenswood Drive were targeted with drugs and cash and suspected stolen items recovered.

"All suspects are under arrest and enquiries ongoing."
