West Yorkshire clinic seriously damaged after white Range Rover ploughs into it on Christmas Day

Police are appealing for information following the crash in Wibsey which caused extensive damage to Wibsey Osteopathic Clinic in Moore Avenue.

Police were called just after 3pm on Christmas Day to the incident, where the driver of a white Range Rover had smashed into the building.

The occupants of the car then fled the scene.

Police are searching the car for evidence and are trying to trace those involved.

No one is thought to have been seriously injured.

PC Dan Williamson, of West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit, said: “This was a serious collision which is lucky not to have resulted in serious injury.

"However a business premises has been extensively damaged and investigations to identify the driver are ongoing.

"I would urge that person to take the opportunity to come forward now.”

Officers worked with structural engineers to make the building safe.
