Wanted: Police hunting for Pontefract man after Knottingley burglary

Police are hunting this man from Pontefract after a burglary was carried out at commercial premises in Knottingley.

Officers want to speak with anyone who has seen Gareth Stead or who has information on his whereabouts.

The 34-year-old is wanted for a burglary offence on June 22, West Yorkshire Police said today.

Inspector Anthony Coultate, of Wakefield District Police, said: “We do believe Gareth Stead is still living within the Pontefract area and have been conducting a number of enquiries to find him.

“I would ask anyone who has any information about his whereabouts to ring Wakefield Police on 101."

Anyone passing on information is asked to quote crime number 13180302716.
