A wanted man is believed to be moving between Leeds City Centre and Harehills.

Ashley Giles, aged 25, from South Leeds is wanted on suspicion of burglary.

Officers first issued an appeal to find Giles on Wednesday, April 22 but he has not yet been located.

Chief Inspector Dan Wood, of Leeds District Crime Team, sent a community alert on behalf of West Yorkshire Police on Tuesday, May 5 at 9.05am.

Chf Insp Wood said: "This message is just to seek your assistance in keeping a look out for Ashley Giles, who is our priority wanted person in Leeds at present.

"He is wanted for burglary and other offences.

"We believe he is operating between the City Centre and Harehills (possibly sleeping rough), hence sending it to this group."
