Police are asking people in Leeds and York to be on the lookout for a man who is wanted on recall to prison.

Gwent Police are trying to trace Anthony Barnett, who has served time in prison for cruelty to children.

He was released from HMP Gartree in Leicestershire on August 1, but has been recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions.

The 46-year-old has links to both the Leeds and York areas.

A police spokesman said: "It is believed he has lost a significant amount of weight since this photograph was taken."

Anyone who sees Barnett or you knows his whereabouts is urged to call Gwent Police via 101, quoting reference 1700498956 .
