Urgent appeal to find missing man thought to be in West Yorkshire

A missing man from York is believed to be trying to travel to West Yorkshire.

Thomas Peter Haynes, 35, was last seen in the Heslington area of York on Monday evening.

Police also said there may have been a sighting in Askern, South Yorkshire around 1pm on Tuesday, May 19.

They added that they believe he is possible trying to head to the Bradford/Kirklees area.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing to the public for their help to locate Thomas.

Thomas has dark brown hair, a beard and is slim in build.

He is believed to be wearing a white top, sandy coloured trousers and black trainers.

He may also be wearing a brown baseball cap.

Anyone with information about Tom’s whereabouts should call North Yorkshire Police on 999 with an immediate sighting or 101 with any other information.
