Two teenage boys have been arrested after an elderly man was attacked in Pudsey.

The assault happened on Lidgett Hill.

Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with the assault.

They have been bailed.

Officers from the Leeds West team said: "Following extensive enquiries, detectives from Leeds District CID arrested two 16 year old males in connection with an assault on an elderly man on Lidgett Hill in Pudsey.

"The males are due to return on bail to Elland road Police station next week."
