Two men who were arrested by armed officers near Aldi on Skinner Lane will appear in court on Saturday morning.

West Yorkshire Police have named the two men as Benjamin Mills, 28 and Ruwen James, 24, both from Leeds.

The pair were arrested in an armed swoop in the Lincoln Green area of Leeds on Thursday December 6. They are both due to appear at Leeds Remand Court this morning.

Benjamin Mills is charged with offences including robbery, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and kidnap.

Ruwen James is charged with robbery, threatening another with a bladed article in a public place and kidnap.
