Two men arrested on suspicion of drug driving after police called to Leeds crash

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after police were called to a crash in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police were called to a crash between a Vauxhall Corsa and a van on Royal Park Road, Hyde Park, shortly before 9.30am on Sunday.

The driver of the Corsa, a 20-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

He was later released under investigation.

Officers then spotted an unrelated Ford Fiesta being driven erratically near the crash scene on Royal Park Road.

Police stopped the car and arrested another 20-year-old man on suspicion of drink or drug driving and being in the possession of cannabis.

He was also later released under investigation.
