Two Leeds murder probes in one day: Everything we know about Bramley and Harehills deaths

Two murder investigations have been opened in Leeds today in two separate unconnected incidents.

This is what we know so far on the death of a 21-year-old woman in Harehills, being treated as a murder by police, and a murder probe following a man being stabbed to death in Bramley.

Monday, February 25, 7.10pm: A woman was found in Milan Road in Harehills with serious injuries.
The 21-year-old was taken to hospital and declared dead a short time later.

Two men, aged 29 and 34, have since been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the Harehills incident, a spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said.
Police remained on the scene in Harehills through Tuesday morning to investigate, with forensic officers and a cordon put in place
Entirely separately, a second murder investigation was launched in Bramley on Tuesday night after a man in his 40s was stabbed and died in Broadlea Terrace.
A 48-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with incident.
Police were called to the stabbing at 3.04pm and an Air Ambulance also landed in the street. Despite the best efforts of those on the scene, the man sadly died and a murder investigation was launched.
Passer-by Olivia Byrne,18, tried to save the man, She said: "I was helping with his airway and another man who is ex-military was doing CPR. It was just like a movie, it was horrible.
