Two Leeds men arrested for manufacturing drugs in North Yorkshire village

Two men from Leeds have been arrested on suspicion of manufacturing drugs in a rural North Yorkshire village.

Police were called to a report of suspicious activity at an address in Husthwaite, in the Hambleton district, at about 11am on Monday.

Two Leeds men, aged 27 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled drug.

They have been released on bail.

A police spokesperson said: "North Yorkshire Police responded to a report of suspicious circumstances at an address in Husthwaite at around 11pm on Monday 27 April.

"Two Leeds men, aged 27 and 38, were arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled drug and have been released on bail while enquiries continue."
