Three-car crash in Morley leaves 88-year-old man with serious injuries

An 88-year-old man has suffered serious injuries in a three-car crash in Morley.

It happened at 12.40pm today (Thursday, June 25) on Bridge Street, at the junction with Elmfield Road.

A white Suzuki was travelling in the direction of the A650 when it crashed with a red Nissan Juke and a grey Mazda which was stationary and unoccupied at the time.

The driver of the Suzuki, an 88-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Nissan Juke suffered minor injuries.

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash.

Anyone with information or who may have dash cam footage of the crash is asked to contact police on 101 or use the live chat facility, quoting log 815 of June 25.
