Three arrests as staff threatened at Batley car dealership in attempted robbery

Three men have been arrested following an attempted robbery at a car dealership in Batley.

Police were called to a report of a robbery at the business on Bradford Road at about 2.10pm today (Wednesday).

Three men had arrived in a dark vehicle before threatening a staff member inside.

One suspect was detained at the scene while the others managed to escape in the vehicle.

Police later arrested two men in connection with the incident.

One of the suspects had been injured during the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life threatening.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed what happened, who saw the suspects arrive at the scene in a dark coloured car, or who may have other information to come forward.
