'They have stolen everything': West Yorkshire nursery owner left outraged as thieves rip televisions from wall and ransack facility

The owner of a West Yorkshire nursery has been left outraged after thieves ripped televisions and electrical equipment from the walls.

Owner Jodie Churm told the Yorkshire Evening Post how Bright Sparks Child Care on Smawthorne Lane in Castleford had been turned over by thieves in the early hours of March 3.

The assailants took iPads, tables, CD Players and Macbooks along with the entire CCTV system from the wall.

A large television was also taken, leaving an empty wall mount.

The nursery has now been forced to close as police investigate.

Jodie said: "We are totally devastated as we have had to close today until police work had been done.

"We work so hard to be part of the community and this is what happens."
