A total of 19,126 crimes were recorded by West Yorkshire Police during the first month of lockdown.

New police data, obtained by the Yorkshire Evening Post under the Freedom of Information (FOI) ACT, shows which crimes were most prevalent while we were told to stay at home to save lives. These were the 10 most commonly recorded crimes in West Yorkshire from March 23 to April 23. All images are for illustrative purposes and do not represent a specific incident or location.
