Teenager left with 'multiple facial fractures' after trying to intervene in fight outside Leeds McDonald's in Briggate

Detectives investigating an attack in Leeds city centre that left a teenager with "multiple" facial fractures have released CCTV images of a man they are trying to trace.

The assault happened outside McDonald's restaurant, in Briggate, during the early hours.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the victim, an 18-year-old man, suffered several fractures to his face after being punched while trying to intervene during a fight.

The force today (Wednesday) released a CCTV image of a man they are trying to identify in connection with the attack, which happened on March 2 this year.
