A teenager has been arrested after a 17-year-old boy was injured in an assault near Leeds Bus Station.

Police were called to reports of an assault on York Road at about 8.15pm on Saturday February 13.

A 17-year-old boy suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

Another 17-year-old boy was arrested and bailed on suspicion of section 18 wounding with intent.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

They would like to speak to anyone who witnessed an altercation between two boys in the Kirkgate area, near the Parish Church and Penny Pocket Park, at about 8pm that day.
