A teenage boy has been charged with sexually assaulting two women.

The first sexual assault happened as a woman walked home from the Thornes Park area of Wakefield on Wednesday, May 27.

The second assault happened in the Agbrigg area on Friday, May 29.

A 17-year-old boy, who can not be named for legal reasons, appeared at Leeds Magistrates court on Monday, June 1 in relation to the crimes.

He was remanded into custody.

The teenager is next due at Leeds Crown Court on Friday, June 5.

Police would like appeal for witnesses and to speak to anyone who was in the Denby Dale Road area between 12:00 and 18:30 on Wednesday 27 May or in the Montague Street area between 1pm and 2pm on Friday May 29th.
