Schoolboy seriously injured after being hit by car in Leeds

A schoolboy has been seriously injured after a crash in Leeds.

The 15-year-old boy was hit by a silver-coloured BMW on Carr Manor Road at about 3.15pm on Wednesday, March 18.

He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries.

He remains in hospital today.

The 28-year-old driver has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while over the prescribed limit of drugs.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the crash, or anyone who saw the vehicle before it, to contact them.
