A man was beaten with sticks by a gang of robbers outside a Leeds medical centre.
The 66-year-old was attacked outside Beech Tree Medical Centre, in Henconner Lane, Bramley, at about 6.40pm on Tuesday.
A group of men confronted him as he was getting into his car.
They hit him with sticks and stole his watch before escaping in a dark-coloured Mercedes car.
The victim sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Det Insp Ian Lawrence, of Leeds CID, said: “This was clearly a very distressing incident for the victim and we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed it.
“We believe the men involved had been waiting in the Mercedes at the scene for some time prior to the incident and that there were a number of people in the area who may have seen them and witnessed the incident itself.
“I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist us.”
Anyone with any information should call Leeds CID via 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
