A red pickup truck was driven into the front of a barbers in Leeds on Christmas day in a ram raid robbery.

At 9.19am this morning (December 25) police were called to a ram raid robbery at a barbers on Dewsbury Road, Leeds.

A red pickup truck had driven into the front of the barbers, stealing a cash machine.

The red pickup truck left the scene towards Beeston Hill and was followed by a White transit van.

The truck was later found abandoned on Flaxton Street and has been recovered for forensic examination.

Extensive enquiries along with CCTV are being carried out.

The suspects are described as two men all dressed in black wearing balaclavas.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the robbery or who saw the red pickup truck or white van in the area to get in touch.
