A LONDON taxi with its own bar and cinema is pulling up in Leeds.
The ‘Tipple Taxi’ has arrived at Trinity Leeds and is offering passengers the chance to relax and kick back with a drink and a movie.
A free programme of five short films will be shown – all based around the theme of journeys.
It will include a mixture of live action and animation, with films including Carpark, The Missing Scarf, with narration by George Takei, Hunting for Hockney and Madam Black.
The Tipple Taxi is part of the Leeds International Film Festival.
It will also be part of the festival’s welcome centre, where visitors can get information and details about the event.
Alongside the Tipple Taxi’s speciality cocktails, its bar and café will serve local treats from Leeds-based North Star Coffee Roasters, Taste Bakery and Northern Monk Brewery.
The Tipple Taxi has played host to some famous faces over the years, including Goldie, Craig Charles and Groove Armada.
If you want to get involved though, you may have to be quick, as the taxi is only there for two weeks and can seat just three people at a time.
