West Yorkshire Police revealed the seizure in a post on social media.

The cannabis was found in the south of Leeds, although the force would not disclose a more specific location.

Three man 'caught playing hide and seek' have been arrested and charged with producing a controlled drug and have been remanded in custody.

Cannabis worth between £80,000 to £100,000 has also been taken off the streets, the police said.

A spokesman for the force said: "The three males caught playing hide and seek have been charged for Producing a Controlled Drug and remanded in Custody for Court.

"£80,000-£100,000 cannabis recovered and taken out of circulation."

It comes a day after police discovered a weed farm in Harehills, in an unconnected incident, after a landlord stopped a police officer in the street.

Police went to the property and found the farm, which had around 50 plants, which were seized.

On Thursday, police used a circular saw to get inside a property in Rawdon where officers found both Class C and Class B drugs.
