Police have seized 25 cannabis plants after a raid on an address in Leeds.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Leeds West team attended at an address in Whingate, Leeds, on June 26 and found a 'young cannabis farm'.

A spokesman said: "25 plants were seized and enquiries are ongoing'"

The same team also arrested a 'career criminal' after a chase in Bramley Woods.The man was reportedly sleeping rough in the woods, but going out at night to burgle homes.

A spokesman added: "A career criminal has been arrested this afternoon after a foot chase with a PCSO in Bramley Fall woods.

"Information was received that the male was sleeping rough in the woods and actively committing acquisitive crime during the night. The male has been arrested and will be returned to prison tomorrow."
