Police searching for this man after woman robbed in Burley

Police have released an E-fit image of a man they want to identify after a woman was robbed in Burley.

The robbery happened on Victoria Terrace at 12.30pm on May 13.

A 25-year-old woman was approached from behind by a man as she walked down the hill towards Belle Vue Road.

The suspect grabbed at her bag and eventually pulled it from the victim despite her efforts to resist.

He made off into a waiting car with the bag, stealing the victim's Apple laptop and cash.

Leeds District Police would like to speak to anyone who has information about the man pictured.

Anyone who can identify the man or who witnessed the offence is asked to contact PC 1594 Smith at the Leeds District Crime Team on 101 referencing crime number 13200238754.
