Police search Gledhow Valley Woods in connection with missing Leeds teenager

Police are currently searching Gledhow Valley Woods in connection with a missing teenager from Leeds.

Rawan Hussain, aged 16, was reported missing at 1pm on Sunday.

She was last seen at her home in Chapel Allerton at about 5am that day.

Part of Gledhow Valley Woods and Gledhow Valley Road are condoned off as police conduct a search.

Officers are appealing for anyone who has seen her or who has any information that could help in tracing her to come forward.

Rawan is described as an Asian female, of medium build with curly dark brown hair.

Police believe she might have been wearing a head scarf, black coat and Nike trainers went she went missing.
