Police release more details after woman is hit by bus in Leeds city centre

A woman in her twenties has suffered life-changing injuries after being hit by a double-decker bus in Leeds city centre.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at around 4pm on Boar Lane at the junction with New Station Street.

Witnesses said the woman was trapped under the bus and 'screaming'.

She is still in hospital.
