Police release CCTV of West Yorkshire stabbing suspects

Police have released clear CCTV images of two men suspected of stabbing another man in Huddersfield.

The 27-year-old victim was attacked on Swan Lane on the evening of Friday July 3 and suffered a knife wound to his back.

Detectives from Kirklees CID are now hoping to speak to anyone who can identify the two men pictured.

Officers initially arrested a man on suspicion of wounding but he has now been released without charge.

DC Vicky Foley said: “We are continuing to investigate this serious assault and have now issued images of two men who we want to speak with in connection with the attack.

“Any attack with a knife could easily have extremely serious consequences and although the victim in this case has now been discharged from hospital, he continues to suffer from a great deal of pain.
