Police release CCTV images in hunt for Batley burglars

CCTV images of three males who were disturbed during an attempted burglary in Batley have been released by police.

The trio forced open the rear doors of a house in Carlinghow Hill, Batley, on May 30 at around 6.35pm.

But after being disturbed by the occupants, the males fled empty-handed.

Police Constable Rachel Jenkinson, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “I am appealing to members of the public to come forward if they recognise any of the people in these images or have any information about this incident.  

“Due to the close proximity of the location of the incident to major arterial routes it is possible the offenders are not local, and may have travelled out of the area.”
