Police have arrested 11 people during raids in Leeds this morning.
Officers from the Leeds Inner East policing team joined colleagues from Leeds District Crime Team, the Serious and Organised Crime Team, and Protective Services to execute warrants at six addresses in the Harehills area of the city.
They also seized large amounts of drugs and cash after searching the properties.
The raids took place after information about drug dealing was passed on to police by members of the local community.
A spokesman said: "The investigation is at the very early stages. However, there have been a total of 11 arrests and large quantities of drugs and cash have been seized from these addresses.
"Enquiries continue but we will continue to work with the local community to prevent and disrupt the supply of drugs.
"We would urge anyone concerned about such activities to contact the police."
Information can be passed on by calling police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
